Shooting stars across the sky above,
everyday i wish with all my heart and love,
that you were here and i could watch you grow,
my darling daughter that i do not know.
i'm sure that you would have learnt to walk,
i wonder how clearly you would talk,
some days i daydream of who you'd be,
more like dad or more like me.
there are still days that make me cry,
i wasn't ready to say goodbye,
and although the time has quickly passed,
it's been over two years since i held you last!
