Joseph Ramon Chavez, Nevaeh Skye Chavez, and Benny Alijah Chavez our beautiful triplets who were born too early and gone too soon. We loved you before you were even born, and you are the most amazing part of your daddy and me. Mommy dreamed of having you since she was a little girl, in the exact order you came, didn't know it would be all at once; but I always wanted a boy, a girl,and a boy. We think about you every day, and our hearts ache from losing you. You all were so strong, you fought so hard to live, you had mommy and daddy believing the doctors didn't know what they were talking about, and that you would show them. Not a day goes by that we don't think about you and wonder who would you have been, and what you would be like now. I hope you saw the balloons that we got you for your birthday we sent them straight to heaven for you. Not a day goes by that we do not think of you and miss you, you have been the most amazing part of our lives. I know your Grandma(Daddy's Mom) is taking such great care of you in heaven for us. Until the day we see you again you will remain Angels in our hearts. We love you, forever and always.
Joseph Ramon Chavez our first born, just like your Daddy. You were such a miracle, you were just so full of life that you couldn't wait to join us. Mommy will never forget how she delivered you herself, and the first time she saw your face. You were a true miracle, you're the only one who cried and I still am amazed that your tiny lungs were capable of that. I can imagine you would have been our little athlete and love sports as much as your Daddy.
Nevaeh Skye Chavez our only girl, you would have been such a Daddy's girl and been able to wrap him around your little finger. Daddy still writes and doodles your name all the time, you will always be his little princess. It would have been so amazing to watch you grow up, our little girl who would be gentle yet tough, right in between your two brothers. You looked more like Mommy with your blonde hair, but you were tall just like Daddy.
Benny Alijah Chavez, you were the youngest just like your Mommy. You looked just like Daddy, you would have grown up to be so handsome. You were definitely our little warrior you were all heart, and stayed with us for so long before you finally had to let go. I know you would have held so much strength and courage in whatever you chose in life. You taught Mommy how to be strong, and helped me so much by staying with me for as long as you could.
We came across this poem, the author is unknown but it just made us think of you and wanted to share it with you. We will love you forever and you will always be a part of us.
Angels of our Tears
How do you love a person
who never got to be,
or try to envision a face
you never got to see?
How do you mourn the death of ones
who never got to live.
When there's nothing to feel good about
and nothing to forgive?
We so deeply love you,
our companions of the night.
Wandering through our lonely hours,
beautiful and bright.
What does it mean to die before
you ever were able to live?
To live the lovely night of life
and never see the dawn?
Our babies,
you lived like anyone!
Life's a burst of joy and pain.
