Phillip John Currey

Phillip John Currey
Born Sleeping 22nd July 1990

Dearest Phillip
You have been missed all these years by your whole family, but especially by your beautiful Mother. We will be celebrating your 21st Birthday this year, and although it would have been a much different get together if you were here with us, we will be remembering you & reflecting on your brief life on your birthday. Please be with your Mother especially as your birthday is such a hard day for her, but also be with your Father, Brothers and Sisters as well, giving them all your love.
I want to share a poem/song that was (and still is) one of your Mothers favourites around the time you were born, and always makes her think of you.

Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine

Little one, when you play
Don't you mind what you say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine

If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you

From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Cute as can be, baby of mine

We love you very much
Your Aunty Elizabeth, Uncle Mathew and your Angel Cousin Lara
