The letter project, another question.

Dear Ladies,

Thank you so much for sending me all your thoughts regarding the letter project. My dear friend Sarah and I will write the letter together this week. I do need to ask one more question.

In the wake of your baby/ies death are there any websites that you have found helpful? Where do you go on the internet to find support? Please if you could leave your thoughts and the website name in a comment here or send me an email.

With deep gratitude,

Carly x

We were given a pamplet by the funeral home with a selection of urns. All very expensive! I for some reason thought to go online to look for urns, since not only were the ones in the catolog pricey, none of them fit what I wanted. We used
http://www.perfectmemorials.com/
and they even had the same exact urns as the funeral home guide for a fraction of the price. So, maybe a suggestion about checking the internet for urn styles (also memorial jewlery) and pricing?

I visited Baby Center (www.babycenter.com) there is a infant and stillbirth grief and loss group. They were wonderful, and truely the reason I did not loose my mind. I also read lots, and lots of blogs.

When I lost my baby the non-profit group SHARE was wonderful. They gave us a little matching blanket and hat and also a tiny little braclet for me to keep. They also made molds of her feet and hands.

Being a triplet mum I went to

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/LAMBS/

LAMBS (loss all multiple birth) is for people who have suffered a loss of all multiples (twins, triplets, quadruplets or higher).

Hi, I know that there's a group who do photographs of babies -- I can't remember their names or contact details.

When we lost our daughter Grace, there was nothing in our community in the form of support for parents who have lost babies. We came across a foundation, appropriatly called, The Missing GRACE Foundation. Their mission is to provide support to families at the time of the loss by assisting them in the hospitals and all the way through their grief journey. Please check them out, it truly is wonderful what they do!
