You were here with us for such a brief time yet touched so many lives. We often wondered what we did to deserve such a beautiful, sweet, loving baby. You were perfect in every way. You had the biggest, cutest, most loving smile. You would patiently wait for us to look at you and then grin and coo. You showed us unconditional love and made us feel so good about you, our family, and life in general.
Son, our hearts are filled with sadness, loneliness, and pain that I will not get to raise you here on earth. We had such beautiful dreams for our family. We will miss you while we are here on Earth. We know that we will see you again in heaven some day. Until then, son, please know how much we love you. We will miss making your bottles and changing your diapers and cry for you often.
Thank you for everything you brought to our lives and for giving us the brief but so significant opportunity to become your parents. Take care, “Little Mister” until we meet again.
